Last time I showed you a picture of one of my people drawings, but I also mentioned that I like to Anthropomorphic Animals, that is animals having human characteristics.

This can be lots of fun to do and I especially like mixing graphite drawing with watercolour highlights.

Today I am going to show you my drawing/painting of an Old Sea Frog, - I hope he finds what he is looking for. ^_^

As you may know I do a fair bit of watercolour painting, some of these artworks I use in my card designs, but I also like to draw.

Drawing is a sort of meditation, it is so easy to relax while gently shading in areas of your subject matter.

I like to draw all sorts of things, but my favourite is people and Anthropomorphic animals, which are really fun to do.

Today Im going to show you one of my people drawings I did just recently.

I as some of you know am a watercolour artist, recently, just for fun ,I decided to paint my interpretation of a song, what the music and lyrics inspired in me in order to come up with a composition that represented that.

The song I chose was Bicycle Race by the band Queen. Particularly the lines I want to ride my bicycle etc..... I hope what I came up with makes you smile.

A couple of weeks ago I cat sat for my neighbours. His name is Cusco and he only had three legs, having lost one in an accident.He happily comes to stay in my house and soon settles down.

Hes a very cuddly boy and tends to follow me around, even when Im working on my computer he insists on laying on the desk and more often than not gets in the way of the keyboard.

But hes a lovely puss, so I dont really mind.

When my 9 year old granddaughter came to stay through the school holidays, we spent some time cooking together. I have been doing this with her ever since she was very little.

This time we decided to make a fruit flan case, which I filled with strawberries and set in jelly and also some fruit scones.

She did an excellent job of following my instructions.
