My Brother Grant has been hand painting die-cast models since we were kids...A long time ago now ;) Its a hobby he still enjoys to this day.

He has won so many awards at shows for his work and does a lot of commission work too.

He mostly paints military models but does dabble in other areas now. Jon Snow from Game of Thrones is one of those and with the new season due to start I thought I would share this with you.

This week we popped into the aviation museum. Unfortunately, the weather was not that great and just poured with rain so we never got to spend as much time there as we would have liked.

There was so much information to take in as everything was very well described and really interesting to read. The picture is a GLOSTER JAVELIN FAW.9R, there were so many planes and helicopters to see that we will be back at a later date to take it all in.

We have had some great weather the past week, so have spent some time at our local beach which is just a short drive from our house.

Our border collie Mak cant get enough of the water and just keeps fetching his ball until its time to go home.

We always seem to tire before him! He loves the water, but the shower when he gets home...now thats a different story!

Last week we took a 5 hour round trip to pick up our little Ragdoll kitten Luna. She is 14 weeks old and just like a little ball of cotton wool. They take their Ragdoll name from going limp and relaxed when picked up.

With her loving nature and captivating blue eyes she has won the hearts of everyone here.
