Attached is a photograph of a card made from a sheet made by Liz Harrison who was very sympathetic at the time of my loss of Amy.
Amy was 14 years old at the time of her death in my arms and the most adorable, tender, loving little bitch I had during my 20 years of breeding and showing Yorkshire Terriers.
She was an excellent mother to three litters of puppies and the last litter produced a little dog who went on to win every class he was entered in during the five years of his showing career, both at Championship level and Crufts.
He had the gentleness of his mother and gave the same amount of love that she did. Amy's other puppies carried the same genes as her and have gone on to be old aged pensioners of the dog world.
Some are still alive to this day.

This rose bush is 8 1/2 years old, and although it has bloomed well from year to year, this year it has excelled itself and has been blooming for over a month.
Maybe it has been the long winter here that has allowed the bush to keep moist and it is now thriving.
I will have to remove a lot of the flowers as the weight is pulling the branches down, and if we have any rain all the petals will come off.

Well I have today uploaded my 500th gold card. Three and a half years of learning about cardmaking and having a go at anything. My 500th card is a parchment design and was a real challenge but enjoyed every ,minute of doing it.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the designers who have helped me in the past with various bits of advice, the new friends I have made on the Forum, CuP support (who are fantastic), and ofcourse not forgetting CraftyBob.
Here is to the next 1000 cards, someday maybe.

Thought you might like to see this beautiful display of Petunias. The photo was taken on the main Street pavement outside Asda Supermarket in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. It something I miss so much about Spain. These beautiful plants do not grow well here.

Week two started off quite boring as it was raining hard Jubilee Weekend, but the sun came out on the Tuesday so we took ourselves off to Mansion House in Bedfordshire for a Medieval Day.
At first my grandson was a bit bored as nothing much was happening, until the horses and knights appeared. At first he was a bit scared of them as they were large horses and he had never been that close to one.
One of the Knights claimed to be from Bulgaria and had a son of roughly the same age, and he moved the horse quite close to Harris and he was OK from then on.
During the jousting Harris was very intent on shouting for the Bulgarian. But as the photo shows he was also defending everybody else.
