… great Grandson, Noah, is now just over a year old! Hes such a happy young man, especially when we go to the park!
Im lucky in that he lives a few streets away, although as his Mum, my granddaughter, and his dad work … they sort of top and tail the day with them switching over for childcare around midday!
Sooo I really cherish the times I get to see him. And the best thing is … that as Im a great grandma … I get to give him back for all the other bits!
Lol!
…. Had a fun filled day with our youngest grandson Austin whilst his Dad, my son, was in Derbyshire competing in the Masters Championship.
He won the Gold Medal in the 800 meters!
Hes off to Madeira in a few weeks where he will be representing England in the Masters Championship! His daughter, our youngest granddaughter Olivia was also competing in the 800 meters race in Derbyshire … where she came 2nd!
What a fantastic day for all of us!
… was my Mums 94th birthday recently! We lost my dad a few years ago and hed have been 99 this month! Mum is in a lovely care home and she has a lot of good friends there too. Her only real gripe ….
Is that her Mum hasnt been to visit her for a long time now! lol The care home put on a lovely festive birthday celebration for my mum with lots of treats, she sooo loved it!
… had another lovely fun filled day with our youngest grandchildren Olivia and Austin this week! Olivia doesnt like having her photo shown so Ive cropped her out of my photos!
We of course had to do some crafting! and we also fitted in baking ( a yummy Crunchy Topped Lemon Drizzle Cake) we also played board games, and fitted in a trip to our local park!
Phew …. What a lovely day!
… week my son and daughter in laws dog, Minnie, went home but we had a lovely day on Wednesday with our youngest grandchildren instead! lol we had a full, fun packed day, which included baking (we made steamed treacle pudding with custard - very yummy!) we also had a trip to the local park … but the highlight of the day was crafting! … Well who can blame them … we all love Crafting!
Id drawn and made some stickers for them to colour and prepared some corner bookmarks for rheum to make and decorate!
Needless to say we all had a fun filled day … and we are doing it all again this week ….
Now all Ive got to do is come up with another baking and crafting idea! lol
