…. Had a wonderful day with our youngest grandchildren this week …. Its half term and theyve got 2 weeks school holiday …. Soooo weve already started the Halloween crafts ready for next week!
Well you cant have too many ghosts and ghouls can you! lol We made ghoulish ghosts for them to decorate their windows and Scary wobble balloons … and played a making faces game Id made and decorated with funny faces ….
Which was fun! We will have more ghoulish fun next week too …. Just watch this space! Lol

… youngest son,Paul Wright, is in Madeira at the moment. Hes not there for a holiday (but I think hell still enjoy his time there! lol) but is there to represent The United Kingdom on the athletics track in the 800 metres!
Hes already won a lot of medals in the past but has never competed at this level before! We are waiting with bated breath and have got everything crossed for him … and whatever the results we couldnt be prouder of him!
…. Its getting rather a bit scary …. already! lol Even though All Hallows Eve in still three weeks away we are seeing some rather scary things appearing in the shops, gardens and houses in our area!!
Hopefully, in they are not to busy, well be having our youngest grandchildren, Olivia and Austin, during the half term holiday …. and Im sure well be baking and crafting on a Halloween theme too! lol

… weekend my youngest granddaughter was competing in the schools cross country race. It was a combined race with 4 different races all in the same race. Olivia was in the younger female group and the boys had 2 age groups too.
There were lots of starters in the race but Olivia was soon way out in front of them all … by the time she reached the finish line there were no other competitors in sight!
To say we are proud of her is a big understatement! lol

… the beginning of October and although weve had some really cold days …. and quite a bit of rain … there are still some lovely flowers blooming in our garden and along the trails and footpaths near here.
They are lovely to see but Im guessing they wont last too much longer because the weather man has forecast lots of heavy rain and some rather strong wind and gales!
My youngest granddaughter might be competing in the cross country on Saturday … but if the gales are too strong and gusty it might be cancelled for health and safety reasons!
But hopefully it will go ahead and Ill be cheering her on once again!
