STORK & DAISIES PINK BABY GIRL CARD Topper with Extra Decoupage
This topper for a 7 by 7 inch new baby girl card, shows a stork with a bundle, following the sign for "Stork Deliveries". It's painted soft pinks, and edged with watercolour and daisies. The sheet includes two layers of decoupage and one extra blank sentiment tile, and another saying "Congratulations".
This card topper comes with small-scale commercial use, meaning that you can sell any cards you handmake with this sheet, on CUP or anywhere else) and is also available in a blue colourway.

A very sweet light welcoming feel to this pen and ink plus water colour original by Clare Walker. I feel privileged to be able to make a card from this design. I printed a copy of the sheet onto Crafty Bob's 200gsm Gloss card and cut out all the elements. I made a card backing for the topper 1mm smaller all round, then attached the topper to it with double sided tape. I added all the elements step by step using tiny double sided padded tape. I then made the main card in good quality card stock 27cm x 13.5cm. I then made the backing sheets, from card, I had in my stock. They are both a daisy pattern in pink and white, one has the white back ground and the other the dark pink. I cut the white background at 12.5cm square and the pink at 11.5cm square. I used padded double sided tape to matt these together. I then wrapped and attached the 3cm pink organza and satin ribbon around the 2 backing sheets and firmly attached it to the back of the larger backing sheet. I attached the backing sheets onto the main card front, again with padded double sided tape. I was then able to use the same padded tape to attach the topper onto the card. I used a length of the same pink organza ribbon to make a bow and attach it to left hand side of the card.
Thank you for such an original design
