STORK & DAISIES PINK BABY GIRL CARD Topper with Extra DecoupageCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

A very sweet light welcoming feel to this pen and ink plus water colour original by Clare Walker. I feel privileged to be able to make a card from this design. I printed a copy of the sheet onto Crafty Bob's 200gsm Gloss card and cut out all the elements. I made a card backing for the topper 1mm smaller all round, then attached the topper to it with double sided tape. I added all the elements step by step using tiny double sided padded tape. I then made the main card in good quality card stock 27cm x 13.5cm. I then made the backing sheets, from card, I had in my stock. They are both a daisy pattern in pink and white, one has the white back ground and the other the dark pink. I cut the white background at 12.5cm square and the pink at 11.5cm square. I used padded double sided tape to matt these together. I then wrapped and attached the 3cm pink organza and satin ribbon around the 2 backing sheets and firmly attached it to the back of the larger backing sheet. I attached the backing sheets onto the main card front, again with padded double sided tape. I was then able to use the same padded tape to attach the topper onto the card. I used a length of the same pink organza ribbon to make a bow and attach it to left hand side of the card.
