Birthday Splishes - Moveable Decoupage
A new addition to my range of moveable decoupage age-cards. This time an underwater scene that would delight any little girl, and maybe some not-so-little ones too! When you gently pull the 'bubble' at the top of the card, the little fish 'swims' to the surface!
The mermaid and fish are both decoupagable - this looks really effective if you curve the edges first. Full instructions are included tho actually making it is really easy.If you prefer you can use the fish as an additional decoupage element and omit cutting the slits in the card and the mechanism. Still looks cute and saves time if you are in a hurry! Entirely my own artwork - no clip art used.

I printed this sheet onto photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I then followed the very explicit instructions to create the mechanism.
When finished I used foam pads to lift it from the silver matting-(just to make sure the mechanism would not get stuck) and then placed on a blue and white striped base card.
I added a border and the age of the little girlit is going to. Any little girl would be happy to recieve this card!
