Animated Moveable Decoupage Skating Bears
Another, in my series of moveable decoupage sheets. Creates a novelty Christmas card which is sure to impress.
A push and pull of the slider lever, causes the bears to show their skills (or not!) on the ice! Sheet includes full instructions. Simply cut out, attach the parts with brads as instructed. Layer up the 3d elements. All holes and brads are hidden by the characters and decoupage layers. TIP Best printed on photo paper and glue the base image to card also reinforce the lever, by sticking onto a 2nd piece of card to strengthen it. I also stick tape to the areas where brads will be used, to reduce wear and tear due to friction. I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the design as per instructions. I assembled the decoupage and moveable mechanism using thin foam tape and brads. I attached the design to the card also using thin foam tape.
I printed onto matt card . Cut out the base picture, two bears, decoupage pieces and the lever. Attached the bears following the instructions and added the decoupage using foam pads.
The main section was attached to a dark blue card blank using foam pads making sure the bears were able to move.
Dotted a few snowflakes around the card to finish.
