Spring Out Gatefold Card - Dad You're the Best
These adorable cards have a lovely 3D appeal, the arch on the insert sits on accordion folded side gussets and the central elements sit on a folded spring, allowing the card to lie flat for posting and the layers spring out when removed from the matching envelope that is included in each kit.
This kit comes with a choice of sentiments and a blank greetings panel on the back , making this a really versatile card.
The sentiments included are: Just For You Dad - For a Special Dad - Happy Birthday - Happy Fathers' Day and a blank if you want to add your own text.

I printed all the card elements onto 200gsm photo paper and the envelope onto 100gsm paper and cut out all the pieces.
I checked the tutorial for assembly and which I had got the base finished I just had to attach the dartboard with its 'spring' and the decoupage to the front of the card using foam pads.
This is a novel greeting card with the dartboard popping out on opening the envelope.
Printed all card elements onto 200gsm matte photo card and envelope onto good quality paper. Cut out card elements, scored front of card and attached back panel, then cut out aperture using a craft knife.
Glued 2 parts of back card together.
Folded side springs and used to attach front to back of card. Folded centre spring and used to attach spring out element to centre of aperture. Decoupaged using 2mm sticky pads. Cut out and assembled envelope. This is a really great card for a dart playing Dad.
