I mounted onto an 8 x 8 scalloped edge card and decoupaged the 3 layers of the butterflies using sticky pads on the body part, shaping the wings outwards for a lovely 3D effect.
I added a sentiment to the top and bottom and added gold shimmer card candy to each corner. I added a gold elasticated bead trim down the spine and finished off by adding the matching insert. I printed (the wings of the butterfly) verse on the insert before printing it out, but if you want the insert plain just let me know
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape.
I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I added the butterfly layers using thin foam tape on the body and silicone glue under the wings to give more definition.
I added the greeting using thin foam tape. This gorgeous card has a matching gift tag with decoupage elements too.
You could use it as a tag or attach it to a small card.
