I printed the design onto 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I scored the back of the handbag about half an inch from the top then joined the front to the back using strong double sided tape above the score line.
I also joined the handles using strong double sided tape. The bag will now stand easily on its own. I added the bows and the greeting using thin foam tape.
I printed onto 250 gram smooth card and glued the back and front together at the top of the handle.
I made a concertina fold and added to the inner bottom and decoupaged all the pieces using sticky pads.
I added my chosen sentiment and added 2 bows to each side of the handle. This is a gorgeous design with lots of decoupage
I printed the card back & front onto 250gsm. matte photo paper and the decoupage onto 200gsm. I cut out the pieces and glued the card front and back together before adding the layers using sticky pads.
I completed the card with bows and some small gems.
