Blue Christmas Windmill Card Mini Kit
Card in the shape of an old windmill trimmed with Christmas flowers. The sails of the windmill are attached with a brad or paper fastener to make them moveable.
The kit has 4 sheets which include the card front, card back, front and back inserts, decoupage, sentiments and a matching gift card.
There are 5 sentiments, including a blank one for your own message, which attach to the windmill sails. The card back allows it to stand and it folds flat for posting. The finished size is approximately 8" x 8". Instructions are included.

I printed the insert onto 300gsm card and cut it out. I printed the rest of the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I attached the back insert to the inside of the card using strong double sided tape.
I did this before I joined the back and front of the card together. I added the windmill using a brad from my craft box. I then attached the insert for the front of the card using strong double sided tape. The insert hides the brad. The 300gsm card allows the card to stand easily. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
This card is both gorgeous and amazing as the windmill turns. It also comes with a matching gift tag. I added glitter to the snow on the roof and ground to complete this amazing card.
I printed the card elements from this kit onto 200gsm photo paper and the insert onto 100gsm paper. I cut out all the pieces and scored and folded the back of the card before attaching the front using a wet glue.
I then strengthened the card by adding a lightweight blue card. I assembled the vanes and added a snowflake brad and four sentiments!!! yes that may be over the top but this card wants to say best wishes in many different ways.
I attached the vanes with foam tape and all the decoupage using foam pads.
I finished by adding the insert and lots of stardust stickles to the front of the card. A stunner - another great design Mary- and one which is sure to make all recipients feel very special indeed!!
