Boy with Dog Woven Corner Card Mini Kit
Effective, quick and easy card to put together, with some simple weaving in the corner. My woven corner card kits have 4 strips which are layered in one corner in a weaving fashion. I like to use thicker mounting tape where they overlap to accentuate the weaving effect. On top of this woven corner you mount the frame and decoupage layer containing the feature picture - a cute, little boy in a checked shirt and jeans, sitting with his dog on a log.
There are three pages in this kit - the card front, weaving strips and decoupage elements, and a page of optional sentiment strips. I have designed this kit so you only need to print two pages to complete the card if you are using the default sentiment shown on the kit picture. If you want to use one of the other sentiments, you could print the third page, or move the desired sentiment weaving strip to the second page using a graphics program. (I'm a bit of a frugal crafter and hate using more paper or printer ink than I have to!).
The card is approximately 7.5" x 7.5" square.

I printed this kit onto 200gsm photo paper at half size. (Doing this to satisfy customers who like the designs but not the postage!!) I cut out all the pieces and covered a white card base with a turquoise gingham paper (cup399586_66).
I then attached the main image using dst and added all the layers using foam pads. I attached another of the greeting strips lower down the card and finished by adding bronze effect faceted gems to the circles.
A beautiful card with the boy with his best friend and it is quick and easy to make.
