Emotional week for me! knowing now how much hard work goes into becoming Air Crew! All the knowledge you have to have to make sure everyone is safe and looked after.
I dont think anyone realises how much work goes into training and I think you would all be very surprised indeed, But I can now say my Girl is QUALIFIED to the highest level.Since she was a small child Amber had always said this is her dream job, Yes she dreamed and dreamed till it became a reality on 1st August 2017...
Well done Amber!As you can see by the photo Amber is over the moon and I am proud to say thats my girl!

Well this is the last lot of training before getting her wings on Tuesday 1st August! Amber has done service this week, which gives her the knowledge of where everything is kept on board, and how it should be given to you on your flights..
She now knows how to cook your food , how to serve your drinks and give you all the up to date safety regulations.Amber also had her immunisations this week too which means she can now travel safe visits to all countries .I have to say you get on a plane to your destinations and these people serve you all the way..
I dont think I have ever thought how much training and work that goes into being an Air Hostess until Amber has informed us of it all.The next update will be next week when I can safely say she is QUALIFIED! and with her wings in toe....

Well today Thursday 20/07/17 We went to RAF Marham Familes day, Oh the day started with quite heavy rain and we were told that not all displays might happen due to very low cloud, I was so disappointed after just getting used to my new camera...
I have a new lens too which lets me get even closer so I really wanted to use it..Anyway come 2.30pm we had some dry and sun which made it much better..
Anyway this is just one of the photos taken of the BBMF Lancaster, and what an plane it is, I cant believe that these sort of planes won us the war!
With todays aircraft and how much further we have come since that day...But I am thankful to these wonderful people that gave us our freedom and what we all enjoy today!

Its the weekend of RIAT this week..
Royal International Air Tattoo.. and I am going !Tuesday of this week we visited RAF Fairford to watch the United States Thunderbirds land, With my new 7D Canon Camera which I am still learning to use I took some fantastic shots of the Jets coming in to land, This photo being one of them!We stayed for quite a while not really knowing what time they would arrive, The actually flew into the country earlier in the day and did some flypasts over some of the other RAF bases,, One being RAF Lakenheath which I normally visit, But I knew the parking would be restricted so we drove to Fairford where they will be based for at least a week or so.Cant wait till Sunday when we have access to the airshow!

And now we have full uniform and doesnt she looked fantastic.. This week has been full of studying and exams and she has passed every one so far.. Talk about proud Mum moment...
She did the pretend ditching this week too and had to blow up her life jacket and get into the huge raft on her own..
She managed to do that no problem even though she thought she could never do it. This week also saw her going into smoke filled plane and getting everyone off..
Not sure I could do that but Amber did.Next week will be her third week with only 3 to go before coming fully qualified, She also gets her rota next week so will knw her first ever flight as an attendant!Dont miss next weeks story!
