Here is my resident fox dog on the right and his daughter on the left.
She come with dad daily now for her snack at Tinas cafe hahahaThere is two other cubs but they are really shy still and if they see me they hide, this little girl has no fear just like her dad , she will sit and let me throw the food to them but shes not let me get close as yet.I dont blame her really as they are wild and they should always be cautious as not everyone is like me.
Well another visit to the zoo in Blackpool and yes the raccoons remember Elsea.You wouldnt believe how they just come to you and let you touch them, as you can see they have no fear at all.
And as for Elsea she has no fear either , Im not sure Id be the same had I have been there.
They have a yearly pass so can visit anytime and as they live so close and its very intuitive for my granddaughter.
She likes to interact all the time so Im pleased shes got no fear of anything right now.
My youngest granddaughter is absolutely obsessed with animals, my daughter takes her to their local zoo more than once a week.Elsea loves to touch.
She at the moment has no fear of anything, which is a good thing in someways but obviously not in others.Here she is at her local zoo holding the Racoons tail. , I am not sure they are supposed to be touched but when I was with them they came right up to you and wasnt scared at all, and of course you walk through their compound so Im presuming its ok.
I think if wed let Elsea out of her buggy to walk she would be in amongst all of them.
Well the animals and birds are all in the middle of breeding season here, the birds are especially busy and all in my garden.I counted 8 robins all feeding on my new fat balls they seem to love them.
They are so full of goodness for them, however at 20.00 a box they should be.The robins are quite tame I can sit out at my table and they come so close.
In fact they sometimes sit on the table and dont seem to be worried Im actually there. Just be show the wild can sit with you.
We purchased new fat balls to put in the bid feeders.
They are going down a storm for the birds and of course this little devil, I had 4 feeders with 4 balls in each, I put them up at 11am in my garden.One hour later they were all empty, what with the starlings and their babies and no less than five squirrels all on them taking as much as they can.
I went out several times to scare them off. Even got my pomapoo dog running around the garden to put them off. But no good. All was empty and in only an hour.I couldnt believe what I was seeing .
Considering there is trees loaded with berries they were not interested, not sure I can afford to keep topping up ever hour
