Spring is in the air and the animals are starting to wake up to the fresh smell of springtime - well maybe not Albert with his mate Bob!!
These 2 chappies live right near to the local village pub & you can just imagine the conversations they have over a pint or two :) Here are 2 of my latest Mini Kit designs which I must say when made up do look stunning - even Albert & Bob agree :)
A trip to the New Forest in Hampshire is always a pleasure especially when the weather is as glorious as it has been recently.
Camera at the ready, picnic in the basket & lots of bottles of sun-cream, hubby & i ventured off in to the forest & look who we meet! There were so many horses, ponies & foals that came out to meet us, we ended up taking lots of photos & here are just 2 of them & they are so cute. Finally, we had some sunshine last week, so me & hubby took a trip out to our local garden centre and look what we found - some really cute Meerkats.
Being a big Meerkat fan since visiting Marwell Zoo some years ago, I just had to buy these 'Meerkats In Love'.
They are now going to take pride of place in my garden which hopefully if we have a hot summer, I will be enjoying over the next couple of months....... here's dreaming :)
A year ago, my middle son Thomas suffered a very bad knee injury whilst playing football for his club. He had to have key hole surgery to repair a meniscus cartilage tear. It wasn't until Thomas underwent the operation that the surgeon could see how bad the tear was.
After the operation the surgeon told myself & Thomas that it would be touch & go whether he would ever be able to play football again - a sport that is my son's life & he loves so much.
Thankfully, Thomas has made a full recovery which is mainly down to the excellent work the surgeon did to repair the damage, physiotherapy, rest & a lot of TLC.
It is so good to see him playing again & at times when he goes in for a tackle I hold my breath & pray - please not again!

Having just read the latest designer update, I assume I let you know through the newsfeed that I reached Platinum last week :)). On a more 'news' story, You recently mentioned in a mailer about my son Daniel who received great A Level results & is of to Uni soon.
Well, thanks to cup enabling me to earn some extra money, I was able yesterday to buy Daniel a very nice, shinny, i5 laptop for his studies - you should have seen his face light up when he opened the box :) Thank you for your brilliant idea of creating cup, it has certainly helped me to give Daniel what he needs for his future at Uni - Sandra x
