I have just pricked out the pattern, only to find that pattern has extra set of holes which may be a different shoe but its very confusing. Sample is only one shoe, instructions do not say two shoes, and they are different

Please can you explain

Hi Ross,

Thought this looked fun but having cut it out, leaving a flap of white to join it into the pyramid, and scored the dark lines I find that when I join it up there is no flat base for it to stand on. Do I have entirely the wrong idea about making it up? Help please!!!
