Its been nice weather here for the last few days and I've been taking some photos in the garden for inspiration for my paintings.

I have lots of beautiful roses in my garden and here is a photo of one of my favourite roses the Cliff Richard rose that has just flowered. I use a lot of my art for my card designs.

This one is one of my latest and has sold really well

Our family is multiplying lately. They are now 4 new babies in the family with another one on the way. First my neice had a daughter in february, then a cousin had a little boy in March.

Last week another neice had twin girls and next month another neice is having a boy. So I have been busy doing knitting and crochet.

I've done crochet jackets and have also knitted some toys. Here is a pic of a jacket and a clown.

The clown went a bit wrong but he was OK in the end :-) I am currently knitting 2 humpty dumptys for the twins. In between all the knitting I've been doing some new digital stamps designs which are now available.

This time I included a watercoloured version as well

I just took a quick picture of Billy - he loves sitting on the computer desk while I am working.

It can be a bit of a problem using the mouse though as he tends to lay on the mousemat and his feet get tangled in the wire.

You can see that I am on CUP :-) I was designing some new card fronts which are now on CUP

I'm working on quite a few paintings at the moment to use for some new designs for cards etc I had a day painting yesterday and produced this painting. I posted it on facebook and had so many responses that crafty bob suggested I put it on the newsfeed so here it is

I had some good news today. I have tried in the past to get my art into a gallery or accepted by fine art publishing companies with no success.

This week I sold some art on ebay and noticed that the buyer had an email address that was a fine art gallery here is a link http://www.jamieleighfineart.co.uk/ I contacted them and asked what they were going to do with the art I bought.

They had bought it for their home but he said that he was interested in displaying some of my art in his gallery.

So it looks like I will acheive my dream of having some art displayed in a gallery at last.
