Beautiful Floors Castle by Janyce Cotterill

This place charmed me recently with their collection of fine art, stunning porcelain, amazing tapestries and superb furniture. As you are guided through the rooms and look out at the amazing views I wonder what it is really like to live in a place like this as the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe do. I can only but dream - but dream I did. If you are ever up in the Scottish Borders this place along with the superb gardens are well worth a visit.Could the chance of you living in a place like this all be left to the stars? Well the best I can offer you is my horoscope designs. I hope you like them. Along with a bird which I am sure will be living wild and free on the fine Roxburghe Estate! Thank you for your interest.

St. Augustine Florida by Diane Hannah

Taking a holiday in Florida is one of my favorite things to do. For the second time in a month we had to cancel plans due to hurricanes. The first was not so bad, but this most recent one called Matthew was devastating for the east coast of the USA. The photos are of my brothers home, the before and after. They suffered lots of wind, flooding, and rain. Thankfully they evacuated and were safe. Their house did not have too much damage, but the yard had a lot of debris and tree branches. I think Ill wait until after hurricane season to plan another trip.

Two of my favorite recent mini kits

Alfie is a star! by Sue Way

Well not quite a star, but this beautiufl pic of him is going to be in a calender! Some of you may remember a while ago I told you about a charity I follow called Zoes Journey UK. It was started by a lovely lady after her Golden Retriever Zoe was diagnosed with canine cancer. So she wanted to raise £500 for the Animal Health Trust that were treating Zoe & also researching canine cancer treatment. With the help of The Animal Health Trust (AHT), she battled and won her fight & went on to live to the grand old age of 15. Since I told you about it before the charity has gone from strength to strength with the total raised now at over £60,000! Last year many of us sent in our favourite Christmas and snow pics of our Goldens and they were featured on cards & a beautiful calender. The Goldens we had lost to cancer, including our Abbey were showcased on the wrapping paper. This year is the same, but the calender has got even more special so competition to appear in it was harder. Then last night I was asked to submit the original pic of my gorgeous Alfie sitting in the sunshine. I am not sure if he is a main picture or in a frame, but I am still very proud & will definitely be purchasing one. If you would like to join Zoes Journey here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ZoesJourneyAuctions/?fref=ts Or you can just donate through the Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/jayne-May1/ All donations go to help the AHT in their fight against canine cancer. Today I am showcases my latest designs, both of them are on special offer with 25% off. Thank you to everyone who follows me. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Starwars at the Diabeties Run by Joanna Swinton

When the run for raising money for Junior Diabeties was finished my Grandchildren had something to eat and went off and got their faces painted. There were quite a few different tents doing different things, to help raise money for JD. They had a great day. When it was almost over there were a few unexpected visitors that arrived. The youngest, Kieran (aged 3), was not at all sure about it and was a little frightened at first. He soon settled down when he saw that everyone was happy about them being there. It was an exciting end to a lovely day. My Granddaughter raised £197. Well done Bella

Lucky 13 by Vicki Avcin

On 11th October Hubby and I celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary. Its been 13 years of happiness but weve had a lot of obstacles in our wayover those years. I call hubby my Mills and Boon man. Something you read about in booksalways pretty much perfect, and treats the woman like shes the only personon earth. Well Hubby is everything you read about, kind, loving, thoughtful , he cooks and he cleans and does the washing. I think Im pretty lucky to havesomeone who just keeps stepping up to what ever has to be done. We went out to dinner for our anniversary after having a great day. The photo is from our wedding day.

A couple of Christmas cards for the animal lovers.

The zoo by Amy Perry

This week we took a trip to the zoo! We were due to take them during the 6 week holidays but because we got married and a lot of things happened we didnt have chance, so we took surprise trip there! the boys loved it of course.Sadly a lot of things were closed because of the weather but we still got to see most of the stuffWe sat and had some sandwiches in the outside picnic area and this little bird hopped on to our table, he got so close that my husband managed to hand feed him

Our Star of the Day! by Carol Clarke

4 year old Olivia started school just a few weeks ago and has been finding the transition from Nursery to Big School a bit difficult. But this week she seems to have started to find her feet there and she got Star of the Day on Wednesday for helping and tidying. As the Star of the Day she got to be the first out and take the Special Teddy home for the night and on Thursday she got to sit on the special Star of the Day Chair too! I was picking her up on Thursday and her face was an absolute picture as she was sitting on her throne like chair. Sadly i didnt get a chance to take a picture but we did get to spend a happy time at the park on the way home! Below are more of my On the Shelf Cards. Watch out for more Coming soon ... Just as soon as Ive drawn the characters! lol

Exhibition by Carol Dunne

This year was the 15th year of my art groups annual exhibition. For me it was very successful as I sold all the paintings in my photograph plus another which was unframed and in the browser box. I also sold three pieces of OOAK (one of a kind) handmade silver jewellery and got orders for some more. On top of that I sold about 18 of my cards. So I am feeling very pleased with myself at the moment. Best thing about selling my paintings is that I havent got to find space to store all.

Brownie Trip Fun by Kelly Barker

Last weekend my eldest daughter Jessica had the chance to go on a brownie trip to Suffolk leisure park. It was a really great opportunity for her to do lots of things she has never done before. She got to play mini golf, do tobogganing, go on ringos and do skiing. She had an amazing day although she manage to fall straight over on the skis so went back on the ringos which was her favourite activity. Heres a couple of pictures of her before the trip as I was dropping her off, she was the most excited about going on a double decker bus! I still have lots of amazing backing paper kits on special offer, all with 25% off, something for every occasion.

Cloned by Lesley Earing

My new grandson was born on Tuesday morning. He was delivered by cesarean as my daughter in law had a difficult birth with my first grandson. All went well and they were allowed home the next day. His older brother Isaac is quite taken with him. He wants to know when he will play cars with him. On looking through the photos of both babies on their first day in the world they could not believe how similar they both are. The top picture is Isaac who is nearly 3 now and the bottom one is Theo. They could be of the same baby.

Selfies by Tina Fitch

Ava just loves anything airplane based, This was taken by Ava herself as a selfie LOL... at the recent show for RAF Marham of which we attend each year. Ava went around the static show with her Mothers phone taking selfies of all the aircraft..this being one of them... I have to say she takes a lovely selfie..We all took photos that day but Ava was the only one to capture the Typhoon with a little bit of fluff and the after burners still on.. whilst doing his display.. She was right pleased with herself and kept reminding everyone of the fact too.She even got to sit in the Osprey helicopter... She was in her element I am just wondering if she will take the aviator route like a couple more of my family have done already.. Still only time will tell .http://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/ All my unique Designs in all file formats.

Spring has Sprung! by Donna Weaver

Well Spring has definitely sprung here in my corner of the world! Our apricot tree has already shown its blossoms and is now full of leaves and tiny green apricots . . our pear tree is only now blooming with its pretty little white flowers. The weeds are growing like . . well, weeds hahaha. We have been busy at home building our new barbeque area in anticipation of a spring and summer full of family barbeques and fun. Now that we have moved back to our home town, there are plenty of relatives to party with and we just cant wait! Our house is TINY so we desperately need this outdoor area for entertaining. Were planning weekly bbqs because I LOVE it, theres nothing better than chucking some meat on the barbie and having plenty of salads to have with it! The only drawback is the pesky flies and mozzies that like to join us sometimes!Once the bbq area is complete, I will be able to put up our outdoor table setting and start arranging my plants. I have some poor pot plants that I have been dragging around the countryside for years and years – some of them have travelled almost 5000 kilometres (around 3000 miles) in their lives! They were looking a little worse for wear because Ive been lazy and neglected them. So my youngest daughter and I showed them some love yesterday. We re-potted them with some nice new potting mix and a couple of plants were even treated to pretty new pots too.I still have quite a few plants to re-pot, but it feels good that Ive actually made a start! Its a big job. We used almost 100 kilos (around 220 pounds) of potting mix yesterday, and we have plenty more plants to go.Im hoping it will all be done in time to have a Halloween party . . not confident that it will happen, but you never know your luck!
