A picture of Golden contentment by Sue Way

Last Sunday we took Alfie our Golden Retriever to one of our best walks, Alton Water in Suffolk. We havent been since the end of last summer, but as soon as we pulled into the car park Alfie was crying with delight so he obviously remembered it. As he is 11 now the walk to our favourite spot took a bit longer and by the time we got there he was a bit hot. But as soon as we got there he went straight into the water & lay down, with such a look of contentment on his face, that it was definitely worth it. Here are couple of my latest Cute Fox designs. I hope you love them as much as I do as there are more to come in this set. Dont forget to click follow on my home page so you never miss my updates. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Drongos are here by Vicki Avcin

No not the derogatory kind, (here we call idiots drongos!!) but the feathered kind! Yes there is a bird called a drongo. The Australian species is the spangled drongo. It is the only drongo to be found in Australia, where it can be recognised by its black, iridescent plumage and by its characteristic forked tail. The Black Drongo predominately lives in Asia. For the past few years from around April through to end of August we have these little black birds come round when its feed time for the lorikeets, galahs, magpies, butcher birds and kookaburras. These little birds with big red eyes, have black plumage which is iridescent with blue and purple highlights, fly in so fast and snatch the food from the magpies and butcher birds when we throw some mince up in the air and they are off into the trees again. They will hover above you if theres a few of them until they get a feed. We have about 8 of them this year. Last year we had 4, so when they disappear for the rest of the year they must tell all their mates where there is easy pickings. Or they bring last years babies back with them. But they are increasing in numbers each year. The spangled drongo is an amazing mimic taking most of its vocabulary from the sounds heard in the vicinity and weaving them into a virtuoso aria.On Wednesday I spent a wonderful afternoon with some very dear friends. Vicki, who I went to primary school with and her husband David, were in Hervey Bay and they were here at feeding time for the birds that come each day. David has been an avid photographer for the past 40 years, so out came the camera and he managed to capture some wonderful shots of the various birds feeding. But this photo of one of the Drongos in full flight is magic. My attempts at photographing them have been dismal to say the least. I have added a photo of one sitting in a tree so you can see the tail. The photo is used with permission from the photographer.

The items Im promoting are 2 of my latest Quick Cards.

Its all in the detail! by Tina Fitch

Well now the show season is well underway I thought it best to get a professional detailer to detail the RS! So she had a really deep clean and a light machine polish to the wrap which covers the car.. She now pops Pink all over in the sunlight but you can only see it with the naked eye, Photos dont manage to catch the pink hue for some reason. The other job that needed doing was my Brake calipers.. So they have now been sprayed gold with RS plate attached... They look just beautiful now on the white painted wheel... I now must keep up with the cleaning so next year it will only need a top up..New designs added this week for you in all file formats.. Thanks for looking! http://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Millionaires Mansion by Joanna Swinton

While on holiday in Devon we visited a Miniture Village. It was really good. There were things in it that was quite funny. There was a lovely house with a garage and a car with the bonnet smashed up. Then the speaker came on.... you guessed it. Dad my cars not working. There was the little boy with a tiny model car and remote. I was greatly attracted to the Millionaires Mansion. On the front lawn there were loads of special guests. Try zooming in to see who you can see, for example ABBA and Amy Whitehouse. Such a great deal of work has gone into making these amazing dislays.

These are two very different types of cards that are lovely in themselves. I am just about to upload a new set that are very different to both of these

Lake Garda by Carol Dunne

We have recently returned from a fabulous holiday in Sermione at the southern end of Lake Garda. What a fabulous place to stay, so many places to visit either by car or coach, like Verona and Venice. We had quite a few boat trips to other villages around the lake too, like Bardolino and Garda. We also discovered a drink we liked very much called Aperol Spritz, a mixture of Aperol (I think it is made from tangerines) soda and prosseco. I must say that we took such a liking to it that we tried it in most places we visited. here is a photo of my husband Phil with one in his hand. I must also comment that now matter where we visited around the lake it was absolutely spotless. My pet hate is chewing gum stuck to the pavement, why cant people who eat this stuff put it in the bin. But I didnt see any of it on the pavements, wonderful. Well done to the area around Lake Garda for keeping it so clean when having all those visitors everyday.

Here are two of my latest designs, one is a cutting file so you will need a cutting machine for that one.

Shop Safe - Shop CUP

This morning Crafty Bob was able to help Heather Stubley out of a CRISIS. Remember craftsuprint has a back-up copy of all your orders should your hard drive fail. Shop Safe Shop craftsuprint.com

Heather Stubley Wrote: Good morning. I have been a customer of yours for many years and have bought some wonderful items. At the end of last year my computer died and despite all my efforts to get a company to retrieve my hard drive I can not get my saved purchased cards back.
This is very much a long shot but I wondered if you kept records of your customers purchases which you could access and send me copies of anything I have purchased.
I totally understand if this is not possible, it was just an idea.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this even if you can't do anything. Heather

Crafty Bob's Reply: Hi Heather, as requested I have reactivated all your purchase links, wow I didn't know you had placed so many orders. I think I need a cup of tea now :)

Thank you for all your purchases over the years and I am pleased that I can help you retrieve your files. There is nothing worse than when you think you have lost everything.
Sending you big Crafty Hugs,
Crafty Bob

AHMET by Wanda Lipski

Ahmet, 17 years old, has been living in childrens homes since he was abandoned by his parents at the age of 5. My husband, Michel and I have given him a substitute uncle and aunt and he is absolutely thrilled to join in family parties, like this one last Sunday. I asked him which of his birthdays when he was little had been the best for him. To my chagrin, he told me his birthday had never been celebrated, little more than a hurried Happy Birthday Ahmet in the homes. So I made him a birthday card, for his third birthday (although I could have chosen any age from 1 to 9) with his name on it (again, any name is possible with my design) explaining all about CUP and how I needed to make up my cards to photograph them for the website, before I gave it to him. I watched his stunned expression as he opened the card, tears rolled down his face and he fell into my arms with many Oh thankyous .... Ive never had such a reaction to one of my cards before and thought it only right that I share the wonderful story of Ahmet with all my CUP friends. So the photo is of my adopted family, Ahmet, Misty dog (also adopted at the age of 15 months) my wonderful Michel and me!

Holiday Romance by Lesley Earing

My grandson and his family all had a holiday at Lizard in Cornwall. They hired a house out to share with friends. Their friends little girl and my grandson had a really lovely week. They have known each other since they were born and spend lots of weekends and holidays together. The weather was quite changeable but it did not spoil the fun. Lots of ice creams, paddling and giggles were had by all.

Sports day and birthday celebrations by Kelly Barker

This Wednesday was a very good day in the Barker household. It was my husbands birthday and he had some good news about a job. It was my youngest daughter Imogens first sports day at school and the sun kept shining for it and my eldest daughter Jessica can home with a letter saying she was going to be getting a governors award at school. I was one very happy mummy. I watched Imogens sports day and took some fantastic and funny photos of her. She was putting in so much effort as you can see from the photo where she has her leg on the air, but the ball is only 2 foot away! Bless her heart! And ahe looks so happy to have caught the ball in one of the other photos and a little surprised. In the evening there was an old fashioned fire truck which has been converted to be a pizza van coming to town, which is a real novelty for our little town. So as a birthday treat we went and tried their pizzas and had a drink from the local community centre, sitting outside in the sunshine. It was a very good day :) I have lots of my Rosette Over The Edge Cards on special offer at the moment, with 25% off! Thank for looking.

Party Time by Robyn Cockburn

We all donned our finery to celebrate Nicole and Alexs engagement part. With me in the photo are my friends Angela, Nancy and Monica. Nicole and Alex are pictured with the cake. It was a lovely party with some memorable speeches. Nicole and Alex are now holidaying in Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Not to be outdone, our younger daughter Rachel, went camping with friends. Its freezing! She also just got her results for her first semester at university. All 7s! (7 is the highest you can get). My nephew also got all 7s! They amaze us. We are all so proud of them. They certainly put in the hard work though.I hope you like my new art style ink portraits.

Childhood Memories by June Harrop

Its funny how the simplest of things can bring back such precious memories. Living in the north west give us easy access to lots of lovely places to visit. One of my favourites is Southport. When I was a little girl, every year my Mum and Dad would take me and my 3 siblings on an adventure. Dad couldnt drive due to an accident so we always got the train and always ended up in Southport. One of the things that I always remember was Dad sitting all 4 of us on a wall whilst mum went for the ice creams. I can still picture it now and always makes me smile. So 45 years later it would only be right to do it again. And, by the way, it was delicious.
