Surprise day with Mummy! by Rachael Dunne

Arlo usually goes to Nannas on Mondays but unfortunately she hasnt been well this week. So he had a surprise day out with Mummy! I took him to the best trampoline park! Weve been there before, only this time, we found the secret soft play that was hiding at the back! As if a trampoline park couldnt be any more fun needless to say, he had an amazing time and slept like a log for three whole hours in the afternoon - that was Mummys special treat

New Bag! by Sue Way

Ive just completed another bag, but this one was a bit more of a challenge than I expected. Although it was supposed to be a beginner-level project, I found myself worrying over every step. Im a bit of a perfectionist, so I often use an unpicker This can make me lose confidence in my abilities, but I pushed through and finally finished the bag over the last couple of weekends. It turned out just as I had imagined it would when I first bought the fabric and hardware many months ago. I learned a lot from making this bag and am excited to start my next project.

No Wonder This Fox Looks Tired... by Clare Walker

We spotted him or her in a neighbouring garden, fast asleep for an entire afternoon the other day, and this shot shows the moment when our little red friend was just waking up.We couldn`t help but wonder if he or she had been one of the foxes mating noisily in a nearby garden the night before...

... has been the half term holidays here in Nottinghamshire this week and so we were blessed to have our youngest grandchildren for the day. As always it was a whirlwind of a day as they always like to do some crafting (well dont we all! lol) plus play board games, build amazing things with Lego bricks, drink hot chocolate and then have ice cream! But the highlight of the day is always making, decorating and eating whatever we bake! This time we made Chocolate Owl Cupcakes! These are chocolate cakes with chocolate chips in them, then chocolate buttercream frosting, topped with large chocolate buttons for the feathers and white chocolate buttons for the eyes with a little frosting for the pupils and red smarties for the beaks! I wanted the beaks to be vertical .... but the children insisted on them being horizontal ... luckily it didnt affect the taste, they were very chocolatey .... and soooo Yummy! lol

After a brief time resting my eyes, I am blind now in one eye, I am back doing CUP designs. I was eager to get back to creating anything printable. My eyes are still just as bad, but I may as well enjoy myself doing what I love to do :) Its been a long time since I joined CUP and thank them for being patient. Here is a photo of alligators in the southern part of Florida, USA. We visited the Alligator Alley recently wow are they hungry looking!

Little Elsea by Tina Fitch

Well here she is my newest granddaughter Elsea, now 14 months old and in her feet.She is now walking everywhere and cant stand still, here she is enjoying her daily walk and playing in the puddles as she goes, nothing stops her. Reins are a must as she doesnt like being held Shes got a I can do it on my own mindset.The time goes so fast. They are not babies anymore for long. You have to savour every minute, milestone and memory take photos as you go. From a tiny baby to now a toddler. Makes my heart melt.

A Labour of Love by Vicki Avcin

I dont like AI much but its all the rage so I thought Id try it and make an image of my birth Mothers cat. She is in a Residential Aged Care facility and cant have her beautiful boy with her. Kingston II is a Ragdoll with (what I found out) the Turkish Van markings. She doesnt have any photos of him as he was relatively new before she was put into care.She absolutely adores her Kingston and we have quite a few conversations about him. Now how do I make an image that would bear some resemblance? I thought Id try this new found way to generate this boy and after many attempts I managed to get pretty close. A cousin in Sydney (because thats where BM is) visits every week so I sent a myriad of images to him and he took them in and with instructions from BM I put images into PSP and adjusted colouring and markings until the last lot of photos where one was pointed out as being her Kingston. The reason for all this was I wanted to have Kingston printed on a pillow so he could sit on her bed or she could cuddle the pillow. I sell on a platform where people choose the offered designs and the image can be printed on a heaps of different products so put the image in there and chose the two products, ordered from my account and they are now in production. Besides the pillow I also put the image on a spiral notebook also, as when I visit, BM always has bits of paper with notes and phone numbers on them which she keeps in the seat of her mobility walking aid. Figured that way she can put all her phone numbers into the book and less likely to be lost. So after many many hours of manipulating the original generated image I will be now able to give these things too her. Why did I spend so much time getting it right, well it really was a labour of love to be able to have a way she could have her beloved Kingston II with her. She previously had another kitty called Kingston hence this one is Kingston II.
