The Easter Story
Some of you might know the old gospel hymn - On a Hill Far Away, Stood an Old Wooden Cross - most of you will know the Easter Story. Here it is simply told on an open book. The day when Christ was crucified and three days later when Mary Magdalene visited the tomb and found he had risen.
The sheet creates the Easter story simply told in open book style with decoupage layers. There is a choice of sentiments - Easter Blessings, Happy Easter and a blank.
There is background left in some areas and shadow applied to some parts all for ease of cutting.
There is The Easter Story Mini-Kit available which is the same as this but has extra layers, sentiments and insert plaques.

I printed out sheet onto matt photopaper, cut out and attached base to scalloped edge white C5 card, added decoupage with foam pads and added a greetings tile to top corner.
No other embellishments needed for this beautiful Easter design.
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an A5 scalloped edged card landscape. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
