New tulip bed by Judith Henry

Spring always brings such wonderful from the fall planting of bulbs. Last fall was the first time I purchased bulbs from a tulip farm. I carefully planned and planted where I would get the best results. Im amazed at how big and prolific they turned out. I knew the flowers would be large but didnt realize the would be hiding smaller bulbs within. Many of the bulbs cam with side this popping up which were not apparent when I planted them. And the double layered tulips are frilly and fun.

Crafty Jubilee by Janice McFarlane

My daughter is going to be running the London Marathon in October and at the same time raising funds for the British Red Cross. On applying and being selected most charities have a minimum figure for fundraising that you have to pledge with the majority being a minimum of £2,000.00. So, not to just rely on sponsorship she is doing a number of fundraisers, one being a Platinum Jubilee event at the RAF camp where she lives. Now my daughter doesnt craft apart from little bits she does with the children she minds as a child minder, so then came the phone call maaaam! can you make me...... So for the last couple of months Ive been busymaking lots of Gnomes as she said they will sell really well, as well as other jubilee themed toys, handpainted keyrings and lastly some fun earrings, to make up a stall for her. Now the picture doesnt include everything I have made, as well as giving her some other things already done previously. So she should have a good stall at this event and hopefully she will make some money to add to the fundraising pot.

Proud Grand Parents! by Sue Way

We are so proud of our granddaughters. A few weeks ago Imogen age 11 took part in Young Voices at the O2. Young voices is the largest childrens choir in the world, with over 120,000 school children aged from 6-13 coming together to perform all styles of music. Then a few days later Jessica who is nearly 14 completed her Duke of Edinburgh award with a two days hike, including a camp out overnight. What amazing achievements they are. Memories and character building that will stay with them forever. Well done girls!

Photo Fun by Vicki Avcin

One of my favourite pastimes is photo manipulation and restoration. I have restored a lot of photos after floods and even housefires where photoshave been destroyed or distorted from water or smoke damage. I recently did some touch-ups and colouring of my Uncle who was in the RAFduring the war. A lot of the photos I have of family from back during the war areonly sepia photos so to update them Ive taken cracks/creases out, touched themup and colourised. I did a lot of photos for people after Hurricane Katrina and that is what got me into it. Some of the groups I was in at the time (back inthe MSN groups day) had people wanting the only photos they salvaged fixed up and that is what got me interested and I think I did about 50 photos from that. After TC Larrythat went through North Queensland I did quite a lot as well. I still redo photos when they post wedding photos of their parents or grandparents and its cracked and creased or markedso they have photos they can keep that are in good condition. They often then get them reprinted and even resized so they can put up on a wall. Its a good feeling to be able to help people.

This weeks designs are male orientated that could be used for Birthdays or Fathers Day or even retirement.

This ... by Carol Clarke

... Week saw the long awaited graduation of my granddaughter Georgina. It had been postponed due to COVID so it was lovely at last that it could go ahead. Georgina had worked so hard to get her degree, working full time and most of the teaching was done remotely. Only two places were on offer for the ceremony in Rochester Cathedral so her Mum and Fiancé were there in person whilst we were able to see it via a live link on YouTube. We had a lovely view of the proceedings too! lol Below are 2 of my Christmas On the Shelf Card Kits .... theres lots more to choose from too! lol

Sunny by Amanda Assenbruck

This lizard was found making the most of a sunny day after all the rain and cloudy days weve had. A dry log would have been much nicer than the still soggy ground! He was not at all concerned with me taking his photo. Though he was keeping an eye on me I guess he just couldnt be bothered moving. We dont see many frilled neck lizards or water dragons here, just the occasional one so it was nice to see him out and about, it was certainly a good day for it.

A Good Year For Bluebells... by Clare Walker

Everywhere I keep seeing, not only gorgeous bluebells themselves (the most unlikely were recently nestling beside a rubbish bin) but also people all over the UK saying what a good year it`s been for bluebells here. I can only agree and post this pic of our local woodland, which does not do justice to the gorgeous purple-blue haze we saw from a distance, but is something to remember them by until next year, as they begin to disappear into late spring heat.

Loading by Tina Fitch

I just love this one taken this week. F-15 loading on the go!Caught it nicely as its coming into land just over the weapons van looks like its being loaded while its on the move. Not many times you get shots like this. I do like something different from anyone elses shots. It can be done you just need to keep an eye out before it happens
