I covered an A5 card with some blue floral swirl backing papercup284576-38,then printed this image on to a sheet of decoupage paper,mounted the main image to the card,built up the corner, then went over the flower display with crystal glitter .
This is a delightful card. I printed it onto good quality card then mounted it onto dark blue card before attaching it to an 8x8 inch scalloped edge card.
I prepare the card first by scoring the front from top to bottom about 3 inches from the hinge. I then valley folded it and opened the card to put double sided tape on the insde section nearest the hinge. I then closed to card to form a 'book hinge'.
The mounted topper was attached to the front of the card with double sided tape and the decoupage was added with sticky pads.
To the hinge area I added white lace which I attached to some of the dark blue card using double sided tape at the back before attaching it to the card with more double sided tape. I then added a lace 'flower' and some pearls.
