Ramp it up by Janice McFarlane

My grandson Alfie took up skateboarding about a year ago. He goes to trading which is run by a young airman at the RAF base where they are stationed. They are fortunate enough on the base to have a small skate park where classes are held and where he can go to practice in his own time. He has come on a real treat since starting as classes have been a bit hit and miss due to previous Covid regulations. Its taken him a while to get confident to start dropping down the ramps from one side to another but he seems to have finally got the hang of it. He was always a bit scared of falling off, which is ironic considering he plays ice hockey for Oxford Junior Stars. He is still somewhat wobbly and isnt going at any great speed yet, but I am sure it wont be long before his confidence grows.

Sam is 7 months! by Sue Way

Oh my goodness my puppy is growing up so fast, quite literally! In the last few weeks he seems to be getting taller by the minute and is almost as tall as Billy already. He still has a lot of filling out to do, but my goodness his feet are almost touching the ground in this picture. Only another year of growing to go ... Oh dear! lol

My New Toy by Vicki Avcin

Well its not exactly a toy but after including our old mower in the sale of the house, I looked forward to the arrival of our new mower. Our old JD was 16 years old so although still fully functional it doesnt compare to a new one. We had 10 acres to mow previously so the old girl had done lots of work whereas here we only have 1 acre to mow. The new one is same model as the old one only an updated version. At the rate the grass seems to grown here (we actually get a fair bit of rain here) it will get a good work out. It certainly makes mowing a breeze. I have to get used to it though as the old one had gears where this one is like driving an automatic car, turn it on, push the throttle and off you go. Speed up and slow down is how hard you press the accelerator. Its like magic! Hubby took this photo just after it came off the trailer on delivery.

Todays designs are aperture designs. They allow for chocolates, jellybeans, mini easter eggs etc to be put in the pocket the front of the card. Full instructions on making are in the file. Easter and Valentines Day designs shown.

A ... by Carol Clarke

... Very Very Cold and Frosty Morning Walk! We enjoyed an early morning walk last week when the sky was clear and the temperature very low! As we set out it wasnt quite light but it was soo worth getting out early to be at the local Country park just as the sun was breaching the horizon and starting to burn off the mists! lol We had a very welcome luxury hot chocolate to warm us up though at the café when it opened though. Below are 2 of my Carousel Card Kits .... theres lots more to choose from too! lol

Chinese New Year at the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas by Silvia Griffin

Each season, the enormously talented Horticulture and Engineering teams transform the 14,000-square-foot Botanical Garden into a showcase of inspiring sights, sounds, scents and colors. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter are all featured—along with a special display for Lunar New Year. When the seasons change so do the displays. The talented Conservatory team changes out the design and also replants and repurposes as much of the living plant material as possible, further celebrating Mother Nature and our commitment to sustainability. All real Flowers arranged so beautifully. If you are in Vegas it is a MUST to see.

What a site this was. The Bone as they call it. The B-1B Lancer was part of a flypast organised by the USAF to commemorate the 8th Airforce,With it included 2 F15 Strike Eagles from RAF Lakenheath and F35 based at RAF Marham..It truly was a beautiful site and my first ever time seeing the B1 in flight! Id see it static at RIAT May times but never in flight. It was huge. Another first caught with my camera

Petey Parrot by Amanda Assenbruck

My photo today is of a pair of our local parrots. The male is at least 3rd generation to call ourproperty home and come in for a feed. Sometimes the babies must be too much for him as he willcome and sit outside (sometimes not even wanting food) and chitter away at me. I have no ideawhat he is saying of course but one year when he came down quite frequently I think I understoodwhen Mrs brought the new batch of offspring down. About 6 girls! I havent seen any offspring nowfor a few years though and had been worried about Mrs as we hadnt seen her in months but she turned upa few weeks ago so we are happy, as they mate for life.
