... Cold but really lovely and sunny Christmas Walk. We had some lovely sunny days over the Christmas Holiday and we took full advantage of them to get out and about along the tracks, trails, byways and bridleways. We have such a lovely lot of countryside that surrounds us and it would be such a shame not to take advantage of the lovely weather to step out from our front door for a little stroll! This photo was taken not far from Newstead Abbey, the home of Lord Byron, so he may very well have traversed the same path!

Lots of love from me & Billy! by Sue Way

I hope you all had as good a Christmas as you could. We had a lovely day, starting with a walk on the beach as always. I decided to make an effort for the day and put on a dress and hubby snapped this picture of Billy and me in front of the Christmas tree. Wishing you all a safe and happy New Year. https://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/

2020 in Review by Vicki Avcin

Wow thank heavens thats over! But in all the doom and gloom there have been lots of memories and weve been very lucky that Covid hasnt touched us personally like it has for many. The first big difference was not being able to attend our ANZAC ceremony in April, like Ive done for 30 odd years. Instead people stood at their gates with wreaths and candles and had a minutes silence to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country although we werent in lockdown the gathering of people was discouraged. We said good bye to the Queen of the Skies, when the pilots drew the Flying Kangaroo in the sky as our last QANTAS 747 left for the boneyard in the US. I took up study again and achieved my CHCDFV001, a course to recognise and respond to Domestic and Family Violence. As people holidayed within our state (as borders were locked) we saw visits from people we havent seen for years. We saw our eldest granddaughter graduate, turn 18 and attend her formal. We had visits from family through the year, and beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mothers Day sent. We ended the year with devastating fires on our beautiful Fraser Island and the last couple of days of the year saw some much welcomed and needed rain. We also lost some family members during the year sadly. To all my customers at CUP this year, THANK YOU for purchasing my designs. Was a lovely surprise when one rang during the week to meet me and say thank you. Thanks June! I wish everyone a safe, healthy and prosperous 2021 and if you ccouldnt be with family in the last year I hope you can all meet up again soon. A huge Thanks also goes to all the emergency service workers who have worked tirelessly over the past year, I hope things will be better this year. Happy New Year to you all.

Celebration designs are my promoted items this week. Easter (there is also a religious option) and a design that could be used for Birthdays, Anniversaries or Engagement/Wedding or even Valentines day.

..... fabulous sunny crisp Christmas morning walk! As we are all having a socially distanced Christmas this year we decided that as it was such a lovely morning we would take advantage of it to have a nice walk. We had already spent some time FaceTimeing and Zooming with all our children and grandchildren, and on our walk we had a socially distanced walk by meeting with our daughter and eldest granddaughters too as they live nearby .... and still got back in time for our Christmas lunch! A different sort of Christmas but still nice .... heres to the hope we will be back to normal next year though!

Time for Bed by Janice McFarlane

Im sure my cat Bailey thinks he is a human with some of the antics he gets up to. He is a very affectionate cat, he loves his fusses, and on an evening he snuggles between me and my husband on the couch, and whichever way he is facing he also has to have a paw on one of us, sometimes when he is asleep on the back of the couch either behind me or my husband he has to have a paw on our shoulder. I love it. He obviously feels safe and for me it gives me a sense of calm. When its bedtime even if he is already asleep he gets up and heads towards the bedroom with us. On this particular occasion after finishing up in the bathroom I wander into the bedroom to find he had inserted himself perfectly in the bedding which I had folded back. In the iconic words of Zebedee from the Magic Roundabout - Time for Bed. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.

Foxy by Tina Fitch

Caught just nicely sleeping on the bank behind my back garden. They have a den there so we see them daily.I think hed just eaten the turkey breast I threw over for them, then he washed and had a nap.. There is a railway track just over the bank and its quite noisy so I should imagine its nice for him to get some sleep in the sun while its shining..Id like to take this time now to wish you all a Happy new Year, If youre like me you cant wait to see the back of 2020... Been awful in so many ways.. The virus My Dad Passing away... and our freedom taken from us to keep us safe...I hope 2021 is better for all of us... :-)
