My daughter came to visit... by Janice Shehan

I was so happy to see my wonderful daughter, Kelly this past week. She drove 2,000 miles to see me for my birthday! She is so sweet and kind, we had a great time. Some girl fun, we got pedicures and had a delicious lunch afterwards. She fell in love with my cat, Bela (pronounced Bee La), depending on what language you are speaking; Italian, Spanish, English or Russian. She is a Ragdoll cat. Thanks for looking and have a go at my 2 newest designs, the Twist and Pop Card Kit and/or Octagonal Gift Bag.

Modern Art by Janice McFarlane

My grandson has discovered a love for drawing. Although at times he finds it difficult as he is left handed and hasnt quite grasped the concept of perhaps turning the paper. He tends to go so far then swap to his right hand to try to carry on.. Its logical in his head. On this occasion he decided to copy an ornament which his mum has on her sideboard. Its one of those wooden ducks with wellies on. My daughter was so pleased with his effort and attention to detail, she decided to frame it. An unusual piece of art from the gallery of Alfie. Who knows in the future.....

Two of my new Pop-up Arch Kits. New concept from me, very easy to make. Thank you for looking.

New PB!! by Carol Clarke

My youngest son Paul (hes the one on the left in the photo with his running mates!) was running once again for Mansfield Harriers at the weekend. This time it was the 10k at Lincoln. There were over 4500 starters for this prestigious race with some of the best runners in the country entering. Amazingly Paul ran the race of his life and finished in a brilliant 9th place!! Not only that but he shaved nearly 1.5 minutes off his PB with an official time of 23.36 mins ... Hes still on cloud 9 even now! lol Below are 2 of my Pretty Floral Rocking Baskets ... Theres lots more to choose from too! lol

Joeys Out by Vicki Avcin

Our resident kangaroos have had a population boom this last breeding season and we are just starting to see the joeys leave their mums pouches the last few weeks. After showers of rain, there is always a puddle on our front car pad and its a favourite with the wildlife around here. Just recently we looked out the bedroom to see one of the mummas with her joey out in the puddle. I think she got sick of carrying that around in her pouch and decided it was time to kick bubba out. We did see a couple of the mummas out in the yard while it was raining and the joeys seem quite bewildered by getting wet. They were shaking their heads and trying to hide behind trees as the mums wouldnt let them back in their pouches. I guess its not a nice as a nice warm dry pouch when you are put out in the big wide world.

Billy at 11 months! by Sue Way

I am a bit late posting Billys 11-month picture which was taken a few weeks ago. I have given up trying to pick him up and have to try to get a snap before he smothers me in kisses. He is still growing! I cant believe he is nearly a year old, its gone so quickly. I will post another picture on his birthday. Here are a couple of my latest designs. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387
