Blue Lillies by Gail Collins

These lillies were bought my Daughter Jeannette and her husband Colin, They were the most stunning i have ever seen , they were buds when i got them but each morning i came down and more were open, they were amazing and just kept on giving and they lasted for ages, i just wanted to share them with every one.

These are two of my backing sheet kits, which can be used for so many things. on cards, or scrap books or covers on note books,or wraping a small present in.or making bags etc the list is endless.just go wild .

Frost by Gillian Hutchinson

We have been waiting patiently for the snow that was predicted the past few days. Yesterday we got a little flurry, but most of that melted rather quick. We were left with a little that froze overnight and with the added frost made for a lovely view this morning. Its definitely a hat, scarf and glove day!

Heritage F15-E by Tina Fitch

Well I know! Yes its another Jet LOL... I WAS privileged to be invited to the media launch of the unveiling of the first of three heritage painted F-15Es.. I was asked back in October to attend a different event but as I was on holiday I couldnt attend. But last week I got another private message through my instagram account from RAF Lakenheath inviting me to a very special event.I arrived this morning to be signed into the base then off to the hangar to watch a shot video of old aircraft then onto a filmed what I thought was the building of the actual F15... I couldnt hear very well as I was nearly to the back and the echo in the hangar didnt go down well..To my surprise then then opened some metal curtains to what I can only say was an OMG moment! There is was a special heritage painted F-15E.. Painted in heritage colours especially for D-DAY... It will also be part of A flypast to honour the victims of a US bomber crash in Sheffield 75 years ago in Yorkshire. Its one of three that will take to our skies very soon..Thanks for reading see you next week..

First Day of School 2019 by Vicki Avcin

Well the Christmas School holidays are over and after roughly 6 weeks all the kids are back at school now for another year. First day for most was Tuesday 27th January and the rest went back on Wednesday 28th. It depends on what year you are starting as to when you go back. Even the youngest began back at kindy/day care but as he likes to call it school. Only one of the grandies that goes to school in the pictures is still at primary school, the same school his Dad went to. So that will be 2 generations that have started and finished at the school. It kind of makes you feel old seeing them going into high school as you have memories of them being born and so tiny…….now look how big they are! But they are loving school which is great to see….all going back with big smiles. Wonder what the year ahead holds for them…..big things Im sure.

This week Im promoting two more of my new Keepsake cards recently uploaded featuring Butterflies and Flowers.

Little Artist by Carol Clarke

Six year old Olivia loves doing anything crafty and this week when wed collected them from school (with a stop at the park on the way home ... of course! lol) she wanted to get out the felt tip pens and do some drawing. She wasnt overly impressed when we said she had to wait till after dinner but as you can see she was very happy when she did eventually get to draw her pictures! lol

Murder Mystery x 2 by Janice McFarlane

On my recent visit to my daughters at RAF Digby in Oxfordshire, we visited a pretty town called Wallingford which is only a few miles away from the base. Wallingford sits on the river Thames an is a quaint town. So whats so special about Wallingford? Well if you are a fan of Midsomer Murders (as I am) Wallingford is also known as Causton, the main town featured in the series. It was also the home of the wonderful Murder Mystery novelist Agatha Christie. So I was equally delighted. Although it wasnt a particularly sunny day, we still managed a little walk down by the River Thames, I could well imagine how the banks and the river could house a murdered body or two (fictional of course). Wallingford has a charming little shopping area with an old fashioned sweet shop as well as a lovely antiques emporium to have a little browse around. I just loved it. I hope to discover a little more of Midsomer in the surrounding area in the future. Or perhaps follow in the footsteps of Morse and Lewis in Oxford City.

Jessica made cookies! by Sue Way

I had a little bit of quality time with my granddaughter Jessica at the weekend. I dont very often get her all to myself nowadays, so it was lovely. I found a cookie mix in the cupboard and as she is 10 she was able to do it all herself. Even though she seems so grown up now, when the timer rang to say the cookies were done she was just as excited as when she was a little tot making cakes with me. Here she is looking very proud of her cookies and they tasted delicious with a cuppa. Here are a couple of my latest mini kits, also available as toppers on single sheets. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Snow - GO AWAY by Judith Henry

Im sure everyone is tired of the snow. This is my backyard view. Ive been stuck in the house now for 4 days. Poor little puppy goes out in the -25 F weather and his feet almost freeze to the ground. He alternates raising one at a time. I even shoveled a path for him so I dont have to put on his led. Theres no place for him to go but into the snow. Been making my valentine card designs. Caught up on them in one day. Now onto better thoughts like Easter and Spring flowers to cheer everyone up.

My Trip to the UK by Sandie Burchell

I recently got back after 2 weeks in the UK where I attended my Grandsons Christening. The photo shows him with his Mummy and Daddy at the Christening, which went off very well with a nice reception afterwards with friends and family. It was nice to get caught back up with everyone again. It was so lovely to see my Grandson in person again. He is 6 months old now and very personable. He usually only sees me on the iPhone, so he seemed confused initially that I was there in person! Since I hadnt held him since he was one month old, I was surprised at just how heavy he was! I cant wait to go and see him again in the Summer.
