The Castle & The Rock by Janyce Cotterill

Here are my final photos from my recent trip up to East Lothian, Scotland. Tantallon Castle built in the mid 1300s - this mighty fortress has seen a lot of battles. It is positioned in a splendid spot overlooking the North Sea and the awe inspiring Bass Rock, home to more than 150,000 gannet birds during the breeding season. I never tire of seeing The Rock, it amazes me every time. Every little dot is a gannet. These wonderful birds swoop and plummet into the sea and soar and fly around the rock. It really is a spectacular sight. Sadly, as with all things on this fragile planet, man is invading this wonder, with plastic. There is now evidence of it being brought onto the rock by the birds. Plastics are polluting the ocean, killing wildlife at an alarming rate. Another reason we must respect and take care of our beautiful planet and unique wildlife. As many now turn their thoughts towards the changing seasons, Christmas prep starts early in the crafting world so Im leaving you with a couple of my Christmas Sometimes... designs. I am working on another set in the range, then Ill turn my focus towards the man in the red suit more seriously! Thank you for your interest.

All Washed Up!! by Janice McFarlane

Cats are most definitely funny animals. None more so than my 1 year old Ragdoll cat - Bailey. If we go out, we always say to the cats no wild parties, on coming back home we found Baily curled up in the dish drainer, looking all innocent. Hmmm, very suspicious, perhaps a party after all eh? But I have to say he does keep us entertained. On a sadder note our other cat Felix who I featured a couple of weeks ago, took a turn for the worst, and sadly passed away on Sunday. He was 20 years old and we had him from a kitten, he brought us so much joy and funny moments too. He will have met up with all his other furry friends on Rainbow Bridge Im sure.

These are a couple of my latest flectere cards mini kits. Very easy to make with the wow factor. Thank you for looking.

Proud Mum Moment by June Harrop

My youngest Daughter attended a fundraising gala on Sunday evening as she herself has been raising money for the charity. She was also a finalist in the St Helens Charity model 2017 competition at the event and I am so proud to say she won. Although she suffered from serious illness herself when she was young, one nearly fatal, she never takes anything for granted, always has a positive outlook and goes out of her way to help anyone and everyone no matter what. I am so blessed that she is my Daughter. The photo below is her in her sash and tiara xx

Here are 2 of my latest Christmas Designs. Please click the follow designer button to see my new designs and more. Thank you for looking xx

High Climber by Carol Clarke

This week our Cuddle & Giggle day out took us to Clumber Park again with 2 year old Austin. We had a fabulous time and the weather was just perfect too. Most weeks I also collect his 5 year old sister Olivia from school too and every week if its not raining (and sometimes even if it is!) she asks to go to the park. This week was no different and so we spent a happy hour at the park. Austin might only be 2 but hes determined to do all the things the older children can do and so he rejected the toddlers climbing frame and insisted on climbing on the big boys one instead! lol Below are 2 of my NEWEST designs. Watch out for more Coming soon!!

Fat cat by Dianne Jackson

How time flies. Charlie is 9 months old now and nearly a full grown cat. He is already bigger than his mum, Mitzy, but I have been told male cats are bigger than females. The vet says he is not too fat but we will have to be careful as he does love his food. He is so cuddly and soft and now I can actually bend down and pick him up for the first time (after my recent new hips) he cannot escape from me. I have been going into Town on the bus a few times for the first time in 7 years. Before my new hips I could not even walk to the bust stop. I bring home the Metro newspaper and Charlie loves to tear it up. This keeps him happy all night as he will keep going back and having another go, but the print is rubbing off onto his lovely white fur. He has just destroyed todays paper and now he is fast asleep on his favourite chair.I am showing 2 of the latest designs from my Sister, Cynthia Massey. These centre panel easel cards are so simple to make but I think they look so effective. These are my 2 favourite ones

Three Streets of Flowers... by Clare Walker

This week, I thought Id tell you about the lovely people in our neighbourhood whove really changed how it looks, just with plants and flowers. We used to be just three ordinary London streets. But thanks to the Three Streets Gardeners project, every spare bit of soil round trees, bike tethers, and everywhere else you can think of is now festooned with flowers, as in this picture. It makes walking round the neighbourhood just like being in a park, and has made a tremendous difference. Note: bee-friendly window boxes are about as far as my own ability goes with gardening. I am simply saying a big Thank You.
