I have been away from CUP for a while and wanted to share the reason why. My husband and I bought our first property after renting for the last 11 years, which has been both super exciting and stressful all rolled into one lol!

We moved in 12 days before Christmas, which was difficult but also lovely as the Christmas tree, etc made it feel homely straight away.

We are just about unpacked... well downstairs is, we still need to buy wardrobes for our room, so there are boxes everywhere in there which is driving me insane.

Anyone who knows me will know that I like everything organised and to know exactly where things are - it must be the virgo in me!

We celebrated my eldest daughter's 12th birthday on the 30th, so it has been an eventful first few weeks in our new home already.

She was delighted as it is the first time she has had a room all to herself and I managed to get it all decorated and finished for her in time.

Now I am getting things sorted, although slowly... I will be much more present on the site again and have lots of ideas for designs that I will be working on.

I have included a photo of my children, Amber (12), Daley (5) & Demi (4) on the first day of their new schools.

There has been a mixture of nervousness and excitement, but I'm sure they will be glad to finally make some new friends that live locally.

I have included a couple of my favourites, one of my 8x8 card fronts and a shaped card kit.
