While some of us are ,self isolating ,and staying in all the time. I have reigned myself to it. Things I miss ,not going out to the lovely parks and gardens, about this time of year, it would be a trip to see the blue bells.
I love to do all sorts of craft, but have been doing more uploading cards, from the clever designers to show .
Thank goodness for our hobbys. Keep well everyone.
A Poem for 2020 I wrote at 4 am when I couldnt sleepWhen The World Stood StillI looked out, the sun shone, the birds sung, The blades of grass moved in the gentle breezeSlow clouds floated Its all as normal. But looking further, there were no peopleNo shops, empty streets Is this right?
Got to be all a dreamBut in all the strangeness.People cared, they offered help Food, medicine, kindnessNot been noticed for a while It was out there, but not seen.People smiled and clappedfor the many heros that are out there every day.I tried not to look at the ones with selfish hearts Hoping for the time when the world comes back to normalAnd the new found kindness stays foreverAnd is not forgotten.

With it being this time of year, I was very impressed to see in. our town in Hertfordshire , the lovely ladies in a local ladies. knitt and Natter group, they were out in force, decorationing the trees with lovely knitted poppies , some on scafes looked brilliant.
Really Brightened the town up Its good to see as a country we still do a lot to remember.
