Gold Crafter At Last!!

This week I uploaded my 500th card and became a Gold Crafter. This has been an exciting journey, which is due to all you wonderful Designers out there, without you this could not have happened.

I hope I have done justice to your Designs, I have been on a real learning journey. Please keep up these wonderful designs, to keep myself and all the other wonderful crafters creative.

When I go looking for designs to buy, I am like a chid in a candy store, I want them all.

Thanks to everyone for your support, especially my daughter who got me started on this wonderful journey. Below is my 500th card.

The Nullarbor Plain

We are home after our trip around Australia, oh we do have a Beautiful country. We had our first trip ever on the Nullarbor plain From Western Australia to South Australia. That is a very long straight stretch of nothing, well that is what everyone says.

I found it very interesting, the scenery changed quite a lot, but we were really in a desolate dessert. I wrote in my last e news that I had a Bear my daughter designed and made with us. I have always had a dream to drive on the Nullarbor, but that is not an option now.

The next best thing for me, was to get my Husband to get my Mobility scooter from the car and I "drove" for a while on the roadside, of course I had Helen with me.

I thank the Designers for their wonderful sheets as I made many cards in strange places whilst we were away.

Holiday Around Australia

My husband and I are currently on our way around Australia in our Caravan. Our country is huge and beautiful. I took my Daughter's Teddy Bear she designed, and made years ago. Her name is Helen and she has been everywhere with us.

One of the many beautiful Caravan Parks we have been to, actually had a Craft Market on the day we arrived.

This Caravan Park is at 80 mile Beach in Western Australia. A long way from major towns was this Oasis. I have a lot of my cards with me, to sell at Markets, along the way.

This was the first we encountered so Helen and I set up a stand and sold some cards, with lot's of comments of how great the cards and designs were. We will keep on enjoying our trip and more stories will be told.

I have my computer and printer with me to keep up with making cards. Helen is holding one of my cards I have made. Thank you Crafty Bob and Designers for this wonderful Hobby of mine
