Many of my crafting friends who are on the CuP forum will most likely know all about a very dear gentleman who joined us a couple of years ago, John Brighter, John is always a cheery presence in the forum, with lots of good things to say about our handy work, John himself is a crafter, from making Gypsy Caravans to card making, John in fact has a fancy dancy cutting machine to cut out his sheets now !!

John and I have been friends pretty much since he stumbled upon us all on CuP, such a friendly and lively man, you would never believe he was a pensioner !!! ( shhhh don't tell him I told you that ) Recently poor John and his wonderful wife Norma have both been a tad unwell, Norma at the minute is suffering badly with shingles, bless her xx I asked John if I could send down a get well card, then it hit me, I have had many forum members send cards to someone before, why not do it for Norma ?? not only to help cheer Norma up, but to lighten both their spirits, so far, around a dozen crafters have contacted me for Johns address after I made a shout out in the forum, great that people are responding, but I had hoped for lots more, John has already received cards for Norma and has thanked the senders in the forums Social Room and Thank You room, they are a very special couple, our own Heather Howes has met them personally and I am sure will vouch for them being a fantastic couple lol.

I would love to see more cards being sent down to cheer them both up, so crafting friends, would you like to warm the cockles of their hearts ?? give them a little something to brighten their day, excuse the pun !! if so, please contact me via the forum, lets help lift the spirits of this dear and special couple This photo is of a gypsy caravan John made out of matchsticks
