Hi Everyone! Happy Valentine's Day!! Here's a quick little project that will thrill the recipient and the parent, too! A great little iron-on for all the "little Valentines on your list, and this is so quick and easy you still have time to make one.
I used my Jumping Through A Hoop Valentine mini kit cup394639_874 to make the card...and the decoupage sheet to make the shirt!!
I love to use my images and kits for more than just card making, for crafting time too. I used an inkjet printer and Avery brand fabric transfers to create my own iron ons for the front and back of the shirt.
Added Matthew's name to personalize and some mommy text on the back...just be sure to flip horizontally or mirror the image if you add text.
This is the most important step for the perfect results. Now you have another project you can do using your favorite card sheet purchases. In the photo I showed the shirt front, the shirt back, and the fold back decoupage card.
My New Year Project! With a new year starting, I decided to create a whole new look for my home. I am estimating this will take about 4 months. My husband an I are doing our entire house in a fresco finish.
The left bottom is the unfinished wall half with the fresco and half without. The entire process is done completely by hand. I should have stuck with designing cards! Just kidding. The top left is a portion of the wall finished with texture and paint. The right photo is our fireplace wall finished.
The whole room is finished...and this upcoming weekend the wires from the TV and components will be bundled and hidden.
One room down...and six to go. I can hardly wait, I am so pleased with the new look!
On January 19th I earned my Gold badge. Many thanks to all of the fabulous card makers for purchasing my sheets, and making such beautiful cards. I appreciate all of the encouragement from all of the designers to keep moving forward, and of course Crafty Bob!
Now just 4,999 to Platinum...hehe Choosing a card for this newsfeed was difficult, as I did not want to hurt any of the card makers feelings, so I chose the last card in (Latest Finished Cards Uploads) when I made gold!
It's January, and this weekend was 70 degrees! Should be cold and windy, but not lately. Olivia enjoyed the outdoors this weekend sitting on a fountain, wearing an outfit I made her. She loves bows in her hair and dresses and skirts.
It is so much fun for me because all of my children were boys. A girl at last I thought...this is going to be fun! In addition to making and designing cards I love to craft, sew, and loom knit. I made lots of hat for Christmas...but as you can tell we don't need them yet.
I love the warm weather, so this is a dream weekend for me. I would also like to thank everyone who buys my sheet and for the oh so talented card makers for making them look so awesome on the site!

Pictured are four of our eight grandchildren. Two sets of boy girl twins. They are all brother and sister too! Dressed in their Georgia outfits we gave them for Christmas, and just waiting for game to begin.
I thought as a special little something I would make matching hats for each of them. They were a hit! Little cuties don't you think?
