On a recent trip to the nursery, I took some photos of some of the flowers available for spring to summer planting.
My husband and I can't wait to get them planted. These flowers are so beautiful, I may feature some of them as the theme for future card designs.
The next trip will be to purchase the items for our summer vegetable garden! I chose flower related cards for my items to promote, it seemed a fitting choice!
It's Time to Play Baseball!! Spring ball has begun. Pictured here is my sweet little grandson Cameron, playing pee-wee baseball. This is his first year playing, he is 4 years old. Waiting for the pitch, and hitting the ball! At this age the coaches pitch the ball.
Amazing...at this age they hit the ball and run the bases. This one was a foul ball so he had to come back to home plate and try again. What a fun afternoon. After the game we all went to McDonald's for a meal.
Rock Eagle Effigy Mound, Putnam County, GA, USA A local hidden treasure is what I found here in Putnam County. A beautiful 4H campground with lakes, cabins, and tons of history. The eagle mound is believed to have been constructed between 1,000 and 3,000 years ago.
The tower was added to site for visitors to view the eagle from above. It is 102 feet long from the head to the tail, and 120 feet wide from wing tip to wing tip, and what an amazing site.
I can't wait to go back to see more of the park and hike on some of the trails, maybe even do a little fishing! I thought it fitting to promote a bird card with this newsfeed.

A stone church in the country. Had a wonderful drive in the countryside this weekend. Pictured is a beautiful stone church. I hope to use this fabulous church in a design soon.

A beautiful day for a boat ride. Today was a beautifully warm sunny spring day. About 75 degrees here. Perfect for a boat ride with some lunch fabulous company and conversation! Life doesn't get much better than this. Beside this wonderful day, we also booked our summer vacation.
A four day trip to New York City. I will take lots of pictures and get some of them posted after we return. I am so excited to be taking this trip, as New York is my home state. This is where I was born and raised.
Now I will have the pleasure of sharing this time, and my most fond childhood memories with my husband and best friend.
We are not going for a while yet, but I am having such a good time planning our tours, restaurant visits, a ferry ride, a play, and a bus tour.
There is so much to see...and I want to go to as many places as the time will allow for! The card I am promoting today is the Roses and Violets Basket card, which is one of six florals that are linked together.
