During a recent trip up to St. Paul, Minnesota, to pick up my oldest grandson who spent the summer there, I had to take my son's two children with me.

This gave them a chance to meet and get to know their Great Grandma Braun, my mother will be 93 in November.

My granddaughter took to my mother immediately, lots of hugs and kisses shared.

The tea set was my mother's when she was a child, so a bit of history was shared down to the youngest generation. Below are just a couple of my most recent designs, I hope you will take the time to stop over to my home page and take a look around.

My youngest daughter, Ariana followed in my foot steps nearly 40 years later by joining the US Navy. She just completed her school as a Fire Control technician (for the layman this is the rating for controlling and shooting the big guns on a ship).

She graduated at the top of her class, which included people who already had experience in the fleet. I am so proud of her for taking on a career that is a male dominated field. I am so excited as she and her little family are coming up for a visit real soon.

Her ship is currently in dry dock, but in a little over a year from now will be transferring to Spain.

Maybe that will afford me the opportunity to take a trip to Europe and meet some of you fine folks!
