Layered Doily 2 & Butterfly

I cut out using white pearl card and made an offset shape for the bottom and top layer. I cut the offset shapes out in pink card and added them behind the white.
Once I had cut this out I found it was just a little too big to fit an 8 x 8 card so I made it into a rocker card.
I cut 2 of the largest offset shapes and folded them in half, the pink one to make the actual rocker card and the white one as an insert and also for added strength.
I added the layers using sticky pads and silicone adhesive and added the butterfly in 2 sizes, pink and white.
I added a foiled birthday sentiment to the centre and finished off with tiny pearls round the edge. This is absolutely stunning and really stands up well as a rocker card
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the doily layers and a butterfly out of pale yellow, linen textured, 250gsm cardstock. I took an A4 base card and trimmed it to make a square card. I stuck the largest doily directly to the front of this using fingerlift tape behind the central panel. I then used two little strips of 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape at the center of the second doily to attach it on top of the first one. I raided my crafting stash for a paper flower and two glittered trefoil shapes. I stuck the flower at the centre of the doily with one trefoil at the centre. I cut up the other trefoil to give pieces that I added as detail to the butterfly before sticking it to the edge of the doily.
An absolutely gorgeous desing that works well in colours and white.
