I made this card for a very special little girl who is besotted with the colour pink.I printed the cake template to pink card and cut out.I then used a 2nd printing on white paper, cut the cake from the centre & placed the rest around the cake on the pink card.I then decorated the cake with ribbon & stock bows & put the insert aside.I cut some dark pink card to size & folded in 1/2.I glued pale pink paper to the centre & added the sentiment.I finished with balloons, cotton & bows .Using DST I put the card & insert together. Then I finished embellishing the insert.Azka is going to love this card. Thanks again Tina for the file conversion & for the beautiful design.
I cut this insert out of thin white card. The embelleshments and sentiment were cut from white and black paper and silver holographic card.
Once the insert was added to a black card I decorated the cake with black bows and added a peel-off to the top. I glued the seniment to the centre of the top page and added a balloon to each side, to which I added a black bow. I glued a white ribbon border to the bottom of the card and to finish I added a small dot peel-off to all of the bows. A versatile insert I'm sure I'll be using again and again.
