Butterfly Shaped Card 1Completed by Anna Stretton

The design is cut as a stand alone card, but I decided to use it as an embellishment for a large card. To change the design into a topper, cut out as normal and then just snip around the top of the wings where the card joins.

I've cut the design in Gold Dust 160gsm and layered together, attaching only the middle section of the butterfly. I've embossed the top layer using a swiss dots embossing folder. and embellished with a lilac flower spray with silver ribbon,trim and a gem hat pin. The 20cm x 20cm card base is Gold Dust 300gsm with a silver mirror mat and 4 embossed gold dust panels.

Looks stunning when the light catches it, but a bit of a nightmare to photograph. lol
