I cut the base card from 250gsm cream embossed card and the rest from 250gsm purple card. I assembled the card using a wet glue and added pearls down the butterfly.

The layers were cut out using a mixture of white card, Burgundy pearl paper and multi coloured card. I attached everything using a pen glue. To finish I added gems and a matching backing paper.

The base card is cut from 220 gsm white card. The frame, corners and butterfly topper are cut from 120 gsm pearlescent paper which I stuck to the base using pva glue.
I left the wings of the butterfly free to give a dimensional look.
