I love to travel but the events this year have meant Ive not ventured far, like most people. Thats when my travel memories keep my going and I love to look and plan my next trip for when we can all start again.
At this time of year, with all the Christmas movies on, I remembered my trip to New York, at Christmas to see all the lights, the windows and experience the magic that we often see from the Big Apple during this season, on our screens.
It was indeed a fabulous trip with the windows dressed and animated, the skating in Central Park, the Rockefeller Centre with its huge tree and I got to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the world famous Radio City Rockettes....it made me feel like a child again, all that was missing was the snow!
It was unseasonably warm and sunny whilst I strolled around Central Park, with the autumn colours still hanging on and a friendly squirrel to keep m company!I am so looking forward to being able to go back again but in the meantime thought i would share some memories with you all...Hope you and yours are staying safe and well, wherever in the world you may be reading this and heres hoping that 2021 lets us all meet up again...
This week, I turned Platinum! I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who have supported me and bought my designs. I joined CUP quite a while ago and have seen many changes and many designers come in and achieve great things.
When I think how few designs I have on the site (580) I am allways amazed how anyone finds them in all the 1000s of beautiful designs on this site...amazed and grateful. My work life takes over so often that I do not have the time to design that I would like...so to have reached Platinum with only 580 designs is a real boost for me...even if I took a while! Thank you to all my fellow designers too who have helped and inspred me to do better and try harder.
And thanks to all at CUP HQ for allowing me this chance in the first place...when I look at what I started out designing and what I can do now...I am so proud! Thank you all and here's to the next 40,000 sales....some day!
Can anyone see Crafty Bob....the stadium is his favourite purple! I had the great fortune of being able to go to the Paralympics this week and was privileged to see some of the awesome athletes in the Olympic Stadium...including a GB 100m Gold Medal!
The athletes were inspiring and the atmposphere electric - a truly wonderful once in a lifetime experience to treasure! Inspired me to try and channel as much effort into what I do ..including my designing ... and try and see the positive in more things.....still can't find Crafty Bob though.....
