Lavender VellumCompleted by Frances Dent

I used my graphics programme to make this unusual but effective birthday card. I introduced the sheet several times through the programme. Sheet one was flipped horizontally and used as it was a lovely light vellum mounted on to a purple metal base.

Subsequent sheets (2), the contrast was darkened to aquire the right depth of colour and taken through the cut out programme where various bits where removed and reintroduced to the base sheet together with a dropped shadow to give the feeling of depth.

The sentiment and butterflies where added to finish. The card was printed out, cut out, folded in half ready for use.
