Female Retirement
A quick card topper with a verse for a lady who is retiring.
You have the choice of making a quick card as is with the version printed or you can decoupage the banner and put your own verse or greeting onto the card on the topper and make it suitable for any occasion.
There is a matching insert with a rhyme on cup415750_1716. I will also be puttig on a blank insert soon so you will be able to find that under my name when it has been validated

Imported into graphics programme to add a birthday greeting to the decoupage layer then printed onto 190gsm matte photo card.
I mounted onto pink mirri card then onto pale blue card blank using DST. Added panel using 2mm foam tape.
Ties a blue organza ribbon & bow around the spine then finished with blue gems.
I printed the sheet, cut out the base topper and the other item which I used as decourpage. I cut around the oval shape to the leaf and up beside the tulip and added the layer to the base topper with foam tape.
I used an embossing punch on all the corners to fit in with the scalloped edge. I then mounted the base topper onto an 8 x 8 Crafty Bob's scalloped edge card base with DST. I love the simple elegance of this card so just added a matching hot pink and silver ribbon to the spine.
I used the insert inside the card to finish it off, again puching the corners and added a silver peel-off border around the oval shape encompassing the wording.
