These girls would be the perfect finishing touch to a Christmas book for a younger friend or relation. They are designed as bookmarks (see the black and purple ones in my photo) but they also make up into cute cards.
If you wanted to make a card and still keep it as a bookmark simply attach a strip of acetate or vellum and slip the bookmark in there.
I printed the image using glossy photo paper. I used Craft Card to make an 8 x 8 card and added backing paper from my stash. I added a die cut border across the middle.
I used my Cameo to cut some flourishes from black card(cup454404_596) and poinsettias cut using red pearlescent paper (cup454393_596). I backed the image and sentiment onto black card and then layered using foam pads.
Made this lovely card from the bookmark design kit
the design is easy to cut out
I printed it onto matt photo paper
layered it up with DST
and then mounted onto a complementary backing paper
