1950's Rock and Roll Beauty Decoupage
A pretty lady in a 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats and her hair in a beehive.
Musical notes fly across the page to give a rock and roll feel to the design.
Easy to cut out decoupage layers to give lots of depth to the folds of the skirt.

I printed the sheet on gloss paper and cut out all the elements.
I decided to try something a bit different, so instead of using foam tape around the waist I just used double sided tape, while in the other areas I used foam pads, by doing this her waist is quite flat and her top and skirt really pop out, I put it onto a pale cream hammered card, added some gold peel off corners and some gems and a tiny pearl
I printed the sheet onto gloss photo paper. I cut out all the elements. Using foam pads, I attached the decoupages to the card. I, then sticked the card onto colored cardstock.
This was printed on 120gsm card. The topper was attached to a piece of green card with a 1 cm margin all round and then attached to a 17m13cm card. Double sided tape was used for this.
The decoupage was added using foam pads.
I matted the base layer onto Silver, Embossed card with d/s tape and then layered this onto a White card base.
The decoupage was added with foam pads. To finish I added a Silver Bow to the top corner and Co-ordinating Pearls and made an insert for inside.
I layered the dress and skirt, and added a layer of real lace under the second layer. For final touch, i added some rhinestone at the waist and neck.
