Victoriana Christmas Soiree
The adults are gathered round the Christmas tree, the ladies resplendant in their evening gowns putting the gentleman very much in the background.
Please note that the extra ladies decoupage elements are sized to fit this card front but the men are NOT!
To achieve the correct perspective in this grouping the men are actually slightly smaller than the ladies. I know some of you want to use the extra elements on your own backgrounds so the men are sized larger if you wish to do that.

I printed the sheet twice on decoupage paper and once on vellum. I made the base card with two sheets of pearlised card and one sheet of acetate. The back sheet is folded over i/2 inch.
All 3 sheets with the acetate on top are joined together with brads down left hand side. The back sheet of card and the acetate were cut to size.
I layered the vellum picture onto the paper picture and then onto gold card with a 1/2inch border and attached to the front sheet of card.
This gives a lighter finish to the back ground.
I used the remaining images on the paper sheets to 3D the people and stuck them on to the acetate sheet using silicone glue.
I also cut 1/2inch strips of gold card to make the picture frame and mitred the corners. These were also stuck onto the acetate with silicone glue. I then decorated the frame with peeloffs. The sentiment was made in the same way.
I finished the card with some pretty ribbon down the left hand side over the brads. The "bow" was made by knotting a small piece of the ribbon round the strip.
