Eat More Cake Birthday Card Topper & Decoupage
Sweet little girl eating cake. Framed topper with floral 3d decoupage layers.
Coordinating insert, with verse, which reads,
Because today's so special
it really wouldn't do,
to send one simple birthday wish
to last the whole year through...
So this wishes happy moments,
a day when dreams come true,
and a year that's filled
with all the things
that mean the most to you.
Have a Wonderful Birthday
2 sentiment tags, including one blank.
The other reads,
Birthdays are Nature's way of telling us to eat more cake!

I printed on to paper at half A4. I made a base from purple card, half covered in patterned paper, and punched the two top corners. Mounted this on to a pink card.
Added a heart shaped doyley at an angle towards the top right, then added the topper to the left of the card.
Layered all elements. Added a die cut flourish, two punched butterflies, red gems on the cake, pink gems on the pink flowers, and finished with the sentiment.
A really gorgeous design, to suit all ages.
I printed the sheet onto satin photo paper. Cut out the main picture and attached it to a dark pink die cut. I glued it to a shaped card blank I made. The decoupage was added using foam pads and I also added some die cut leaf branches.
