By the Fireplace

I printed the image on semiglossy phtographic paper,then cut out the pieces.I matted the main image onto deep red paper and onto cream glitter card with DSST.

This I fixed to a large horizontal fold smooth black card with DSST and attached the sidepieces with foam pads.

I added a few punched out presents with glue dots,used glitter glue to decorate the tree and other details,glued two glass beads for wall lamps, 2 reindeer on the picture and a tiny red ribbon bow in the top righthand corner.I used peel-off silver letters to write the greeting "twas the night before Christmas.."on a narrow strip of dark red card,attached it to a strip of cream glitter card and fixed this with foam pads.

This card is simple to make,and you can add as much or as little as you like to give it that "Christmas"atmosphere.
