You've Been Framed 2Completed by Frances Dent
OccasionThere are two ways to make this card. You can print the sheet onto photo paper and build the layers up using either silicone glue or pads and apply to a square or shaped card with or without matting onto other coloured card or do as I have done.
I printed the sheet onto thin photo paper and applied it firmly with wet glue to thin white card and left it to dry.
I then cut out the base being careful not to damage the white strip beween the two main pieces. I then cut out the frame taking with it the strip left between the two main pieces to form a hinge.
Carefully cut square and fold the hinge piece along the black line on the frame after cutting out the centre where indicated and stick to the back of the base piece with wet glue.
Leave to dry. Stick a piece of acetate inside the frame and use super sized peel offs, as I have done, or ribbon to hide the glue or vellum dots on the inside of the card and build the layers up on the front of the card to finish.
